Job Description

SYTE Corporation, is a minority and veteran owned company that provides construction and maintenance services to public and private sector clients (i.e., Civil Engineering Construction, Commercial Renovations, Facilities Maintenance, Support Service, Heavy/Civil Construction, New Construction, and Utilities Infrastructure).

 ·Develop, implement, and execute a strategic plan for construction operations; corporate and field, including achievement of assigned metrics such as those related to consistent outstanding customer satisfaction.

·Develops a five-year strategic and growth strategy for SYTE Corporation, updated annually

and KPIs reviewed quarterly.

·Drive the operational performance and capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction, retention, and company goals; provide Senior Management and oversight to staff and lead the recruitment and on-boarding of new staff.

·Locates and evaluates project opportunities, develops fee proposals, conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project; prepares proposals and implements a budget based on estimates.

·Leads the proposal development, including contributing to the written response (key differentiators, success factors, value proposition, technical approach, organization structure, etc.

· Provides leadership, vision, and direction for multiple aspects of the business, including our core services: all SYTE’s projects while increasing operating performance.

· Providing team-building opportunities, creating individual development plans, and career tracking in conjunction with Human Resources Manager.

· Oversee the Project Management team for scheduling projects, achieving budgets, and meeting deadlines, and ensuring site safety compliance

· Establish and enforce project management discipline, policies, processes, and tools that enable world-class execution

· Assist the PMs and General Managers with the resolution of specific issues and requests.

· Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Experience Level

Advanced (10+ years)

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management

Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is required, and 15 years’ experience in the architectural, engineering and construction industry.

·Professional Engineer License in Illinois desired.

·Demonstrated ability leading complex horizontal or wet/dry utility projects and programs.

·Thorough understanding of fiscal and human resource management techniques.

·Knowledge of compliance requirements and governmental regulations.

·Ability to produce sales and implement marketing strategies.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present comprehensive reports.

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
